Can you give me your settings?
My settings are the ones shown in the last screen shots. The one on the left.
Try with those settings and after saving (OK) try to open the profile again using the left (file) icon next to the red X.

Re: A new Video Converter beta version (1.0.0.33) is out!

Somthing is going terribly wrong with version 1.0.0.33.

(1) The software is again clearing all the contents of the folder. I have just lost 4 hours work
(2) The above profile problem still persists.

No. It is changing to PAL after I save. The image on the left is the one with my settings. The one on the right is what I find when I open the profile again after saving.

The colon (:) problem appears to be solved but still will not save to NTSC

Re: Still Problem With Profiles

Can you try by removing the ":" character in profile name? Yes, it is the colon (:) which is causing the error. I have used it in previous versions and had no problems as far as I can remember. I am finding it impossible to save an NTSC profile. It is changeing to PAL with a wrong resolut...

Load All Files From Folder

Hello Cedric, Is it possible to add "load all supported files from folder" in the Add file(s) Menu ?
I know that it is possible to achieve this by dragging the folder. However it will be better if this is also included in the menu.

Re: Converting one file deletes all files in the folder

I have asked that the software will add a number to a file with the same name and extention. For exmple: Our Holiday.mpg, Our Holiday 01.mpg, Our Holiday 02. mpg and so on. Perhaps Cedric will include this in the next beta. Deleting all the files inside the folder is a nasty bug. See my post here: h...

Re: How to prevent folder creation?

I also prefare that no folder is created. I think the idea of producing a folder is because of the temp. conversion file *.muxcache.
However, if this is the reason the *.muxcache temp file could be hidden untill the conversion is canceled or finished.

Re: can't figure out the settings for my dv player

Hello krysavy,

Have you compared file properties from files with the same extention ?
For example, an avi file which plays fine against an avi file that will not play.

Re: can't figure out the settings for my dv player

Begin by downloading Mediainfo (http://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo/Download) and check the properties of the file that plays well on your device. Try to use the same settings in the converter. You can also copy the properties of the file that plays well from Mediainfo and paste them in your post. I'm...
