I had my DVD burner plugged into a new 3.0 4-port hub. I guess it didn't like it.
I plugged my DVD burner directly into my laptop and it converts and burns like a charm.

I got to thinking....what have I done differently? I think it's that I bought a new 4 port hub. My DVD burner doesn't like it. I plugged my DVD burner directly into my laptop and it worked great. My computer is a quad core only 3 months old. The new hub is 3.0. Wonder why it wouldn't work on there? ...

What was the solution?

I'm using vs. 7.0.64.
It took an hour to convert and 45 minutes to burn a 2 hour video.
Can anyone tell me why so slow? Thanks!

Where is the sound events folder supposed to be?

I can't get the sounds to work. The sounds that tell you the project is completed, etc.
