ConvertXtoDVD 7_mainlog.20191129.172102.884.log Just an update on this issue. I have to assume that the issue is “not” with convertX but with the video files. Could be wrong, but when I encounter this issue I download a different version of the ‘video’ file in question and all goes well. So now I d...

Re: Log shows critical info
Well I tried going back to version 64, same result on log critical info. So I went back to v69, but I guess too many registrations because now I'm getting message in "about": Limited version, Software Registration - Status: Disabled Computer. Not sure what all that means. I clicked to get ...

Log shows critical info
Would this be because of the video file itself or some issue.
Two logs show this issue and one does not.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Re: ConvertXtoDVD - Latest beta - 7.0.0.69 released!
Hopefully issue is resolved. Normally I install program and program 'detects' my license key that I have copied to clipboard and I'm good to go. Have learned in the past that 'vpn' can not be "on" when doing this, so vpn is not installed until key is accepted. Anyway, I uninstalled vpn and...

Re: ConvertXtoDVD - Latest beta - 7.0.0.69 released!
Interesting - Why does it say: Trial period without limitation. In addition I just now remembered that it hasn't asked for my 'key', although I usually copy the key in advance before I open the program so that I will be ready for it. Also, find attached my latest log of a movie I just made. ConvertX...

Re: CXD - Latest beta - 7.0.0.67 released!
currently using v68. On November 14 I did a clean install of Windows 10 with November update. Afterword installed v68, and on first run I got the following three part message: You are up to date / Buy now / Close. I closed that 'message' and the conversion proceeded without issue. Yesterday, still g...

Re: Fastest DVD conversion software?
I only wish that I had a computer that could convert a 2 hour movie in 15 minutes, my desktop pc takes anywhere from 3 - 4 hours, that said, someone posted that you could run 'two' applications of convertXtodvd at the same time. I did this, even on my slow pc and it worked.

Re: Unable to convert video file
Just wondering, why have a default setting for chapter points and also have the option to set your own chapter points where ever you like. Point being I would not have had an issue if this "default" setting hadn't been there. Being using this software for a very long time and this is the f...

Re: Unable to convert video file
Issue resolved. I tried to change chapters to 20 minutes, didn't work. Changed to 30 minutes, didn't work. Was going to change to 40 minutes and then I noticed a "default setting": Use original chapter points if available. I had noticed that there 'were' a "lot" of chapter points...

Unable to convert video file
First message: Some chapter points cannot be created as DVD standards limit has been reached (99 chapters). The entire video file will still be converted. Second message: One or more files can’t be loaded. Help: Make sure your file is a valid video file. To do this: Try playing the file in a media p...

not accepting license key
Had to do a 'clean' install of windows 10 today. After I installed ConvertXtodvd I got one of those messages of do I want to buy it, Not accepting my 'key'. I am wondering if when the last time this happened, if my "key" was changed by "admin". She had to connect to my PC in orde...

Re: CXD latest beta version 7.0.0.66
Had to revert back to v64. v66 kept saying it accepted my 'key' but then kept saying it was a trial version, finally it took a 700mb file, converted it in less than 5 minutes, but the result was only 10 minutes of a 42 minute TV show. So I did a 'clean' reinstall, accepted 'key', then on the first m...

What is ‘good enough’ or best file to download a movie?
I usually download the following type: 1080p.BluRay.x264 Some of the ones I see are as follows, in no particular order: TrueHD 7.1 – Hevc.DTS-HD.MA.TrueHD 7.1 – BRRip – AVC.DTS-HD.MA.7.1 – BluRay.x264 I know there are others, just looking for ones to convert to burn to a DVD. I do have a large scree...

Re: Registration / conversion failure
Well, we do it to ourselves, sometimes, don't we. LOL. Issue resolved. Apparently, when it comes to the registration process, VSO doesn't like a VPN to be "on" while your trying to register. Once I turned off my VPN, I was able to register and all is well. At least this wasn't a total loss...

Registration / conversion failure
Well, we all make mistakes. I previously posted that the program was very slow to load. So, I decided to uninstall the program and reinstall same. Bad mistake. While the program loaded quickly I now cannot run the program. Explanation, usually on reinstallation you get a message to apply your "...

Re: slow to boot / start / load
As I suspected the problem was at my end. Downloaded a "fresh" copy of v7.0.0.64, uninstalled the old version with 'Revo Uninstalled", installed the 'new' downloaded copy and now the program loads in a reasonable time, about 12 seconds.
Issue seems to be solved.
Thanks for replying.
