slow to boot / start / load
I'm going to assume the issue is at my end, but looking for suggestions / solutions. Being using the current latest version for some time now without issue. v7.0.0.64. Lately I have noticed that upon clicking the desktop 'icon' it can take more than 50 seconds to 'load'. I had always thought it was ...

Conversion failed
Log attached. Using version 59. All previous conversions have worked just fine. Didn't save the last log as it failed after just 15 seconds. Afterwords, converted a different file and it worked just fine. In the past I have just found a different file and everything worked just fine, but in this cas...

Re: Too Many Subtitles
Just a little followup. As previously stated the above file with 25 subtitles would not process, upon removal of '2' subs, bringing the total down to "23" the process could continue. Again, I only really wanted only "one", in my case, English, but the fact the file contained 25 o...

Re: Too Many Subtitles
@JJ Understood, I downloaded the following file: Sun.Dogs.2017.1080p.NF.Webrip.DD5.1x264-NTg. It did "not" contain an 'external' subs folder. When file is loaded into convertxtodvd with latest version "59", it showed "25" subtitles, and it stated it could not be process...

Re: Too Many Subtitles
I know no one is currently looking at these various issues that are being posted, accept for regular forum members, but I just thought I would post that I found another "movie" file that had a "lot" of subtitles included and that convertxtodvd would not allow to go forward. As pr...

Re: Too Many Subtitles
@Coral Obviously my "Subject" line was incorrect. The 'creator' of the file was trying to ensure that there were subtitles for as many people as possible. Good for him or her. I was simple trying to show that if you tried to convert with "all" of these subtitles included that Con...

Too Many Subtitles
Saw this for the second time. Easy solution was to get rid of some of the subtitles, and then the program worked just fine. latest version 57.
this is just an fyi,
hope this helps.

Subtitles for foreign parts
I know this is the wrong place to ask, but maybe someone knows the answer or can point me in the right direction. Sometimes, when I need subtitles I will go to the "subscene.com" site and get them there. But on occasion a movie comes along, like "Star Wars: The Last Jedi", where ...

Re: Regarding Total convertsion time Possible
@Coral
Understood, however its not telling me that "if" I proceed that I will get a "poor" result, its telling me "conversion not possible", therefore it will not "allow" me to proceed. I just don't recall that statement before.
Thanks for replying

Regarding Total convertsion time Possible
Just wondering if something has changed or is it my memory. I noticed recently that if a project is over 5 hours I get a message that the conversion is not possible. Has this always been the case? Trying to do TV episodes. Using latest version 7.0.0.56, also tried version 7.0.0.40 Thanks in advance

Re: Is there a recommended or best dvd+RW?
I usually buy Verbatin DVD's to burn any movies that I want to keep, was just wondering if there are any suggestions for the best DVD-RW's. I use these on are regular basis and just erase when done. Maybe some brand is better than others, as far as how long they might "last". Thanks for re...

Is there a recommended or best dvd+RW?
I have been using "RW's" for years, I usually buy the cheapest I can find, They last for a while and then I have to throw them away.
thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Re: why did this routine conversion 'fail'?
Thanks for replying. Tried two "other" times with different files with subtitles and they both failed. Installed v51 and ran one of those "failed" files and success was done. So, yes v52 has issues.
thanks again.

audio track question
I downloaded a movie file, and as I often do, I checked it for sound and if there were any embedded subtitles. The sound started ok but after one minute the sound was gone, and no more sound for the rest of the movie. I was using k-lite codec pack and their media player which I have used like foreve...
