Audio - Max Peak Level -3.0db
Have never messed with this setting. Some of my movies come out 'normal' (O.K.), some I have to turn up the volume on my DVD player. I realize the old - garbage in garbage out - may apply regarding the 'files' that I use. Just wondering if I should try changing the setting of -3.0db to something ...

Thank you, Katia.
As stated, those 'numbers' were set by the program, but I have now changed them per your suggestion.
Thanks again

? About Conversion Processes
I have been using ConvertXtoDVD for a very long time, but I haven't messed with any of the basic settings. All's good. Just a quick ? Under Conversion Processes there are three things listed. Wondering if I should change settings on any of them. Would it speed up anything? I usually try to make just ...

Re: This 'key' is used on too many computers
Hello everyone. I have received a message from VSO support and they have fixed "my issue". ConvertXtoDVD is now working on my PC. They told me that to 'fix' this type of issue I must "uninstall" ConvertXtoDVD the right 'way'.

@Robert
Tried your suggestion. Didn't work.
If the company no longer exists then it's going to be a challenge to find a good replacement. ConvertXtoDVD really worked for me, been using it for years. Lifetime license, Maybe that was/is their mistake.

Re: This 'key' is used on too many computers
Well that's not good. I'll give it a few days, and if no response then I will have to look for a different program.
Do you, by chance, have any suggestions?
And thanks for replying.

This 'key' is used on too many computers
Had to do a clean install just a few days ago which it didn't work properly. So I had to do a 'clean' install of windows 11 on my desktop pc 'again. Everything is working fine except for this issue of the 'key' not being accepted.
Suggestions on how to fix please.
Thanks in advance

Re: Is it possible to run two or more sessions at the same time
Thanks
Just did 5 sessions at the same time. Everything worked without issue.
Wish I had thought to ask the question sooner.
Issue resolved.

Is it possible to run two or more sessions at the same time
I have 32 Gig's. Windows 11. All updates. No other issues.
Or will it make the CPU to stay at 100% and take for 'ever' to convert?
For movies I like to do the double pass and for TV episodes I just do the single pass conversion. Most movies are in the range of 5-10GB each, mkv's. TV episodes are ...

Re: conversion cancelled by user
Before I saw your replies, I used any video converter to change the 'mkv' files to avi and then I used convertx and it worked.
So issue resolved.
I will look into your suggestion the next time the issue shows up. I did try "one" file to convert with convertx and it worked, so there might be ...

I have run into this issue before. My solution was to find a different 'file/s' that would work. This time I have not been able to find a different file/s, so can anyone have a suggestion for a different program that might resolve my issue. I am mergeing 5-6 short files, deleting some 'audio' files ...

Re: Conversion canceled by user
OK - I understand
For now, I have completed the task. If I run into this issue again, I will give your suggestion a try.
Any thoughts on why I keep getting the 'virtual memory low - paused'. If we assume the 'files' are damaged somehow, doesn't explain why the conversion completes. Unless ...

? Why do you suppose I keep getting the following message: virtual memory low - paused
Don't understand that. It seems to keep going but it happens all the time with 'these' files.

Re: Conversion canceled by user
Actually I have a write up on that: MKV Subtitle Extractor = MKVExtractGUI-2
Don’t see how that would help. I mean the subtitles work fine when I view the ‘mkv’ files on my desktop PC. If the conversion ‘fails’ with the subtitle tracks ‘within’ the mkv container, I don’t see how the conversion ...

Re: How to fix ‘delayed’ subtitles
I did download from 'two' different source's. I have actually download 'three different files. I wonder if I embedded the subtitles if that would work. Might give that a try.
Thanks for replying
