Re: A new Video Converter Beta version (1.0.0.15) is out!
Hello deadlyshadow, For sure no, VSO doesn't forget ConvertXtoDVD and we are working hard on! ConvertX will stay our major product to create/edit DVD Video and we don't plan to replace it. Regards, Does VSO have even an approximate time frame for when they will be releasing a working version of CXD...

Re: FEW SUGGESTIONS
Hi Joe. I would like to know your personal opinion if you were able to try this yet. I won't have time to give it any kind of a workout for awhile, but I admit there is something about the completely uncluttered interface (using a creamy coloured background that I set up just because I like it :-) ...

Re: Latest beta version 0.2.1.412 - Dec 12th
The movie is Pirates of Caribbean 4 (matroska file)! But now I know why it can't load the movie! The problem is the subtitle, because if I remove subtitle from folder, the movie plays well! Can you tell me, JoeB, why menus of dvds are not displayed on screen? Thanks in advance! I don't use VSO medi...

Re: Very Good
WMP doesn't do this. WMP Classic doesn't do this. At which player are you referring to? The two players I use are VLC Player and GOM player. I don't use WMP or VSO's player. And I don't see what the problem is in any event. In other words, I still don't understand why it matters if a selected file ...

Re: Very Good
I think that the user should decide if a clip should be in a playlist. The wrong with it is that I don't want it to be in any playlist. I just want to play a file by file without adding them to any playlist. I'm not sure that I get your point. As far as I know, all software video players put the vi...

Re: Very Good
I have 5 files on a folder for example. I open the one. Everything is fine. Clicking on another in the folder, doesn't play in the player but it's being loaded in the playlist instead. I don't know how a pic will help here. It is simple. I don't know what Claire will have to say, but that seems lik...

Re: Adjustment for Video viewing
No there are not. What other players have this function? GOM Player has controls for Brightness, Contrast and Saturation, plus an Audio Equalizer, as well as a Subtitle control (size, X and Y positioning, and sync in half second increments). They are accessed from a Control Panel icon on the video ...

Re: scale to 16:9 tv
JoeB: with FullHD TV you set TV to FullHD resolution and then use VSOplayer to show files in 1920x1080. DVD is only 720x480/576.. Thanks for that. Would I be correct in assuming that this only works if the file you have on your computer already has a 1080p resolution and that these files are being ...

Re: scale to 16:9 tv
I have been following this thread and have a question. What is the advantage of playing the video on computer and feeding it to the TV as opposed to burning to DVD and playing using your standalone player with the TV?

Re: first public beta of VSO Media Player, v0.1.1.189
I have to agree with Pantyboy about needing support for subtitles. I wouldn't mind trying the player but won't bother unless it supports external subtitles.
