Is it possible to create a dvd with menus without encoding the video
For example if i have already burned dvd's that have no menus, can i copy the vobs and create a new menu in convertxtodvd, and output without encoding the video again ?

Re: Converted video issue
Been a while since i first reported this issue. I uploaded the video that was causing the problem and version .82 still hiccups, with the video. (handbrake and videoredo both render it fine) I still have menu options appearing blank, and other odd things with the interface, like the quality factor b...

Re: burning incorrect dvd structure
A couple of the encoded vobs had no audio (the original files did) For some reason that beta was not encoding the sound properly.
It encoded fine when using the older version.
So i am not chancing the latest beta in case another issue crops up.

burning incorrect dvd structure
Just installed latest beta .78 Using Pal Auto profile convertx encoded three mkv's to a dvd The resultant dvd would not play in my ps4 and i checked it in a pc and discovered that convertx had put the video-ts and audio ts folders inside a folder called Pal Auto. I also noticed that two of the vobs ...

Re: Converted video issue
I managed to get convertx to encode it properly. I ran the dvd through videoredo's quickstream fix, which left me with two single mpg files. These converted fine with convertxtovideo. However I should point out that videoredo did not give a single error with the dvd files, so I am uncertain what was...

DVD shows up as 59.94fps
Hi, I imported DVD structure of movie Mortal Kombat 2 and it shows up as 59.94fps in the main window ? There was a bonus video also on the dvd and that shows up as 29.97fps. I checked the video track in MediaInfo and it said the video was 23.976 fps. I am using the 2.0.0.8 beta. PS I haven't convert...

Re: Interlace issue ?
I think a video filter can be applied by default in HB, can you check your settings? Regards, I retried my encode (in Handbrake) with the decomb filter turned off and deinterlace (slow) turned on and the resultant file was similar to convertx's output. So you were correct in saying that a filter is...

Re: Interlace issue ?
Can you try by using same H264 settings than HandBrake (preset: veryslow) What video player do you used? Did you used same player with HB file? I think a video filter can be applied by default in HB, can you check your settings? Regards, Hi, I used VLC to play all the videos. I have enclosed a snap...

Re: Interlace issue ?
Ok,
I created a custom profile as recommended, and to my eyes it looks no different to the original encode.
Hardware encoding failed at first so convertx used software mode.
Any ideas

Re: Interlace issue ?
Ok, I checked your log files and found 2 major differences: - You used software encoding in Handbrake, but you used Hardware encoding in ConvertXtoVideo (NVENC) - You used CRF (Constant Rate Factor) encoding mode in Handbrake, but you used target bitrate (default mode in default profiles) in Conver...

Re: Interlace issue ?
This is the log from handbrake
The one from convertx (in users/appdata/roaming/vso) looks like a corrupt text file ?
sdk_media_stats.log
Is this logfile supposed to be readble by me ?
Ignore the above i found where the logfile is

Interlace issue ?
Hi, Is there a de-interlace built into convertx-to-video ? I noticed some pretty extreme jaggy on some anime files, and Handbrake's output is a lot nicer. I thought maybe it was to do with the resize settings (even though i am keeping the same size of the dvd file) My resize for upscale and downscal...

New user crop and scale query
Hi, I am new to the ConvertXtoVideo software and so far have encoded a couple of titles with great results. However i am unsure how to Crop a video and resize in the same encode. I created a custom profile to help with the resize but when i use it, it cancels the cropping black areas from my video I...
