I tried to update today again - and this time I succeeded.
VSO Downloader was smoothly updated to version 6.1.0.134.
Works great.

This morning I was checking for updates of VSO Downloader.
(Currently running version 6.1.0.133)
There was info about new version update available .
After initiating the upload process - it was interrupted by error.
Later, when trying to initiate the update again -
there appears an error message ...

The same here, downloads from Youtube - without any errors or complaints.

In my desktop computer (Windows 10 Pro 64), today after starting VSO Downloader 6 - the new version was available for download.
After downloading updates - version 6.0.0.111 and language pack - VSO downloader 6 was successfully upgraded to version 6.0.0.111 ...
No errors...

Exactly the same Erreur shown here.

May be it is possible to upload a newer version (for clean install only)
per example - 6.0.0.61 - without immediate update after install (as by now 6.0.0.52),
because - it seems that this Erreur appears during the automatic update...

And now --- a merical happened.
On this third try on my desktop PC W10 64bit,
the installation process was successful, program itself updated up to
version 6.0.0.61 Beta.

Out of curiosity, when the upgrade occurred, it tries to update the software but also the Download_Engine
Did you get any errors, Access Denied, Error 5 when trying to upgrade the engine ?

If you did see this, and pressed ignored, wonder if these are the cause of the PC hanging or having ...

rexxon - sounds like licence confused after you used app on a different new computer/ too many computers. Maybe contact vso support for resolution, the vso computer id is usually only linked to/ only authorises one computer. Unless you uninstall which includes vso prompt to remove licence from ...

I downloaded that VSO Downloader 6.0 BETA from my e-mail - as response from VSO Team.
After downloaded - I tried to install, all worked out ok.
There was appearing Shortcut to VSO Downloader 6. After opening that application, however,
I was said to enter my e-mail address again in opened ...

That site is checking for proxy. Downloader acts as a proxy to be able to catch streams.


This is the dry technical explanation. For me, as VSO Downloader user,
it means that this downloader is not usable any more for download from those pages.

And this WebPage Cloudflare protection is not ...

File downloaded with error - in download folder is executed a mp4 file - size 1 kB
VLC ...

Some video streaming sites are streaming videos in .m3u8 format.
i.e. one could see videos, but VSO Downloader does not recognize that
streaming format for video download.

/Looks like some streaming sites are making all possible, to avoid videos being downloaded!!!/
