I've found on the latest versions of ConvertXtoDVD 7 the smart copy function is not working properly. Even with smart copy turned on the program encodes everything, including files that smart copy should not be encoding. So if I'm understanding you correctly, converting to 576p will always result in PAL framerate and there's no way to change it? I guess I wasn't expecting that since the specs on my player say it supports 576p resolution but it won't play anything not encoded to an NTSC framerate. I did redo the disc...

I just encoded a blu ray disc using ConvertXtoHD 3.0.0.71. The source video was encoded at 540p 30fps. I set ConvertX to encode at 576p instead of downgrading the resolution to 480p.
