Does VSO forget CXD and replace it with Video Converter?

Hi, I'm interested in this new Video Converter. I am wondering, will it eventually replace ConvertXtoDVD? Does Video Converter's "x to dvd" function with same quality as in ConvertXtoDVD? In other words, does Video Converter do everything that ConvertXtoDVD does, but with multiple output formats ...
