Burn in subtitle
I finally tried using the program. RTX 4090, Intel i9 14900k with 128 G of RAM. Windows 11 64 bit Workstation I would love to be able to out put a file (downloaded with Stremfab or AnyStrem program) that the SRT (subtitle) files burned in (hard sub). Also, another suggestion (as I have not figured o...

Got it to work!
Well - got it to work. Upgraded the mother board and CPU to i9 14900k. I had a choice between this i9 CPU - one with graphic built in and one without ($40 difference), so I thought why not? The hardware acc setting (not RTX 4090) works. Am pretty happy, hopefully the upgrade / update may fix the CUD...

Re: UHD Converter first release
I bought the yearly license the first week it came out because I wanted to support VSO. I have not used it yet. I wish it has DVD / Blu-ray output though. :D Am willing to learn how to use this (it looks pretty complex), but I feel that ConvertX2Video does most of this program has to offer. Just a h...

RTX 4090
Upgraded from GTX 1080 to RTX 4090 - hoping that Convert X to Video 2 will at least continue to work (and a lot faster due to more CUDA cores). Well, 1080 was working with older driver (the newer ones crashed CX2V.) Sad news to report. CX2V doesn't work with 4090. Even with hardware settings off, it...

Nvidia driver caused failure in CXtV 2
Strange problem. Windows 11 64 bit with 32 G of RAM and GTX 1080 with Nov 2023 driver version 546.17) ConvertXtoVideo 2 (latest beta) won't create blu-ray disk (nor AVCHD). (Although I have not tried DVD output). I looked at the "output" folder. The M2TS files (under DBMV / Stream folder) ...

Re: 2.00105 crashes with CUDA?
hi Katia, In the middle of the file. It was my fault for not being totally thorough about this. I uninstalled the program, and installed it back, and it still happened. Uninstalled again to rollback the activation, then I wiped the hard drive clean, and downgrade it to Windows 10. With it being the ...

** Thank you ** for the update. Will report if the leak memory problem pops up. Pretty please add the "refresh" function (or a button?) as the files, when added, are not equal in the bit rate. Here are steps to reproduce. New project. Make it Blu-ray. Add five files. Note the bit rate. Cha...

Re: 2.00102 bugs
Thank you. Found something else. Will write out the steps to reproduce. I love this program. I think (I had mentioned this a few years ago) if VSO just focuses on this one (instead of a separate Blu-ray converter or DVD converter) I think the energy will be worth spending on it (v.s. three or more p...

2.00102 bugs
Hi. Two bugs. Size of product (bitrate) doesn't get updated. Steps to reproduce. Let's do a 25 GB blu-ray project. Choose blu-ray output. Import a couple of files. Look at bit rate of the files you have so far. Change to DVD output. Note bit rate will change. Change to blu-ray output. Note b...

Current bugs 2.00100
1. Program does not refresh the bitrate. Steps to reproduce: Use any profile. Import a few files. Each file shows current bitrate. Import a few more files. Bit rates are calculated for the new files only. Switch to another profile. Bitrate is refreshed. Switch back to the profile you want to use. Bi...

CUDA vs NVENC vs OpenCL vs CPU
I created a profile to match yours (720p , etc.) and here are the results. The first one (on top) is my custom profile to create a blu-ray disk (1080p with hard code subtitles). The file is much bigger (bit rate 30 mbit/sec). The original file is 1080p from Amazon (using Redfox's AnyStream to downlo...

Looking forward to the next beta
Just upgrade my computer. Am thankful to VSO that it activated on this machine. Should have uninstalled it on the previous one (forgot), and I just wiped the hard drive clean. I am looking forward to testing the next beta. It is a Lenovo Thinkstation p700 wi...

2.0.0.100 hard sub doesn't work
Files downloaded from Crunchyroll.com using Allavsoft program. Load a few MP4 files. SRT subtitles files are selected (since Allavsoft program download all languages). In my case, I select English. Using a custom profile - blu-ray output 1080p, with hard subtitles. ** Preview ** shows subtitles, but...

Cuda for ConvertXtoDVD 7
I remembered getting a reply from Claire (she no longer works for VSO) that Nvidia CUDA doesn't help with this program. The ConvertXtoVideo - it helps (when converted to Blu-ray/AVCHD format, for example), but not to a DVD format. She said it's the output file format (that a DVD uses) that the progr...

CUDA 2.0.0.93
Just downloaded and tried to make AVCHD (disk) with 2.0093. Intel i7, 32 G RAM, Windows 10 64 bit, GTX 1080 Noted 2 problems. 1 It asks for the activating code again. I entered it and it says the activating server isn't available because of no internet connection. 2 CUDA encoding is grayed out. The ...

Set to burn to disk (DVD and AVCHD format). Won't erase / format the disk if something is already on it. Option to do this checked. Even if I were to "erase" the disk with Windows, it still says it's not blank. However, I remember dear Claire saying last year that if I were to "format...

AVCHD 2.0092
This version can create AVCHD 1080p (on a single layer DVD disk) and can be read with Sony and Samsung BR players. The previous version (a few versions back) - AVCHD weren't playable with either BR player. However, the bitrate is something like 0.1 MHz per second (instead of much higher, 10 to 15 MH...
