Normalize or boost audio?
I put a lot of my videos on a usb stick and play them on my TV through a USB media player. For some reason this media player always plays the volume really low on these videos. I have to turn up TV volume to 100% and it's still too low. Weird cause same movie will play the audio using my media playe...

Error at opening
For some reason when I open VSO Video Converter, I get this error vsoVideoConverter.exe - Bad Image C:\Program Files\Intel\Media SDK\libmfxhw32.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your...

Hardware Encoding?
Whenever I convert a movie, it always says Encoding Mode Software (CPU). Is there no Hardware Encoding? Forgive if this is a dumb question.

Re: Font Color
It's the Office 2007 theme that does it. That dark blue font color doesn't show up well against the dark theme.

Font Color
When viewing ConvertXtoDVD 7 and looking at a movie, one particular font color that displays certain things (like for example looking at a title set where it says Show Preview) is a very dark blue in color that is very difficult to read. A different color there would be really good.

Re: Question about cutting video
I used the same .mp4 video both times. Used it once to cut out a part then converting the rest of it to mkv remux. Did it again using the same original .mp4 video to make the same cut but left it the original .mp4. For some reason the converted mkv remux still showed the full length of the original ...

Question about cutting video
I had a two hour video and I wanted to cut 1 1/2 hours off of it. I did that and ended up with a video of 30 minutes long. Problem is even though the video is now 30 minutes long, when playing it back in a player, the player is still showing it as 2 hours long and the slider moves like it is still t...

Re: Getting error starting convertxtovideo now
Well hell dudes, I fixed it! Turns out it was the nvidia video driver. I tried to install to a newer one and the Nvidia driver software said it failed to install. I knew then that something was amiss. I had to use DDU driver un-installer in safe mode to get rid of the old nvida drivers, then reboote...

How do I re-install a .dll file?
The more I search for openCL.dll issues, the more confused I get. Tons of stuff on it and it's baffling.

Re: Getting error starting convertxtovideo now
Searching C drive, I find 7 openCL.dll files ranging in size between about 70kb to 205 kb. You're saying I should delete every one of those? Seems like they must be there for something.

Re: Getting error starting convertxtovideo now
OPencl.dll is not a program, it's a single .dll file and there are multiple copies on the computer at different places and at different sizes even. I don't' know all the ins and outs of opencl.dll other than it works on the graphic side of things. Whatever this issue is is only affecting convertxtov...

Question about Cutting Parts of a vid
I have a video and I wanted to take a part of it out and just save the result in the original format (no conversion). In this program (version 2), I could not figure out how to do that. I could cut a portion out but then saw no way to just save the result without having to do a conversion. Is there ...

Re: Beta version 4.2.0.0 - YouTube solution - work in progre
Google now allows to sign in to gmail but sign out in youtube separately. You would think this would fix the problem but I still can't get the downloader to automatically download youtube vids with http. Typing in the url works sometimes. Edit: Well I thought you could sign into gmail and not youtub...

What difference would using a proxy make? This program is used to download. What does the user's ip address have to do with it?

Two versions in Programs and Features
For some reason I have two versions of the downloader in Programs and Features. An older version 3.1.1.13 is showing along side the newest version. I tried un-installing the old one but it also un-installs the new one. Tried installing the latest one from scratch and the two versions are back in Pro...

I use the firefox addon, works perfect. Amazing Google doesn't have this feature on it's own product. BTW, might want to update original post, that Firefox addon is now at version 31.5.
