Re: iso burning to harddrive ask me to insert disc
In the upper right hand corner there is a picture of a disk. When it asks you to insert media, click on the picture. Sorry for the long time it tool me to response, must have missed a reply notification. Yes, that was the solution that I found too. Should have updated this thread but was so disappo...

Re: iso burning to harddrive ask me to insert disc
Aren't we getting a bit off-topic here? I haven't used ConvertXtoDVD for six month, and the solution should be to go back to a half-year-old backup of windows? And what would happen to the non-ConvertXtoDVD changes I have made during this time?

Re: iso burning to harddrive ask me to insert disc
I tried this, first with keeping the user settings, then not keeping them. I'm afraid none of it worked.
Guess I have to wait for the next update and hope for it to disappear by itself.

Re: iso burning to harddrive ask me to insert disc
The result was that it wrote the DVD folders with the VOB files to the hard drive, so I'm afraid it didn't do the trick but it was well worth a try.

Re: iso burning to harddrive ask me to insert disc
I have always burned an ISO to hard drive, been using VSO for a long time now. I mount the ISO and check that everything is OK. Then I burn it to disc with CloneDVD2. So it's about the same workflow as you have with the difference of intermediate storage. The result has always been like the first wi...

iso burning to harddrive ask me to insert disc
When the coding is done I get this window.
It stops at 13 seconds and I can't get past it other than click it away.
My settings are like this.
So what am I doing wrong?

Re: Video fit method
The target device in this case is the computer.
But it's all right, I found a web based service that did what I was looking for and the video was converted in a matter of seconds.

Re: Video fit method
OK, if perfect scaling is not possible what values/settings do I use to get somewhere near?
The problem I have right now is that when I pad the black bars remain no matter what.

Video fit method
I have a 1280*720 video (no black bars) that I want to output at half the size i.e. 640*360 (no black bars).
Been playing around with the values in the Video fit method menu but can't get it to work.
Suggestions?

Re: ConvertXtoDVD - beta version 7.0.0.28
Hi, 1. There was a crash provoked by ram overuse with multiple conversions if there number was to high or too many cores were allowed to conversions. The issue was fixed in .27, in order to fix the issue a delay must be set between conversion launches, this delay is at the moment set to 10 seconds....

Re: ConvertXtoDVD - beta version 7.0.0.28
I've just started to use 7.0.0.28 and have discovered two anomalies so far. 1. I have 8 processor cores and all of then were used simultaneously in version 6.x.x.x. Now only one video at the times is being converted. 2. In my present project I have 10 small files, all of them had original names like...

Re: BBC iPlayer still not working?
https://github.com/get-iplayer/get_iplayer When you start get_iplayer it will do some preliminary talking with the host so you let that finish. The command for before-mentioned video would be: get_iplayer --tvmode=best --subtitles http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b08h625c/the-replacement-series-...

Re: BBC iPlayer still not working?
Yes, this is the URL for the above download.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... -episode-1
I should mention that I managed to download it with a freeware application (which has a in my opinion a very complicated user interface so I much prefer VSO).

Re: BBC iPlayer still not working?
This issue is solved in version 5.0.1.24 I have 5.0.1.26. It still doesn't work for me. What happens is this. It starts downloading fragments with unknown file names . However, one of these unknown file names keeps downloading not being a fragment any longer. It keeps on until it reaches what seems...

BBC iPlayer still not working?
This quote from the customer testimonial page led me to believe that this issue had been resolved: Occasionally won't pick up a download but it does what I want and that is BBC iPlayer downloads. No Problem. --- Bernard Stone 20 January 2017 But for me the new version, 5.0.1.19 , behaves the same wa...

Long Path Tool is an application used to manage long file names so I don't understand what it has to do with this topic.

Re: New version 5 beta 5.0.0.105
What is the status on BBC iPlayer?
It was working for me up until two weeks ago but not since then.
I can play the videos but not get the latest version (beta 5.0.0.105) to catch them correctly.

Re: Delete a couple of seconds from a broken video file
Thank you for the reply. I remembered that I had an old application called Format Factory that I used a lot years ago and it did the trick. I thought I would first save the part up until the bad seconds, then the second part after the bad seconds and then finally merge them . But, I didn't have to, ...
