I read in another thread that the upcoming release will be considered an upgrade and those of us with a license for VSO Downloader Ultimate will have to purchase a new license if we purchased it more than a year ago. Is this correct? If this new "upgrade" is so great that a new license is ...

I know of one thing you can check. Open VSO Downloader, click on the Help tab. Now click on Open Main Log. The very first entry at the top should be "Ultimate version registered". If it doesn't say that, your version isn't registered. Try again.

He's probably asking for a refund of his paid version of VSO Downloader. He's more than likely tired of downloading every possible release with no progress with YouTube support.

While downloading a tune from Grooveshark, it suddenly started downloading a video stored in another directory.

I take it the password and username is different than on the forum and VSO website for the link above.

With Stop Detection applied, reverts back to Start Detection when opening then closing Settings.

I noticed that the download was much faster in this latest release. Did you make some changes in your server?

Also, what is the significance in the number in each version? All the versions in the past had 675. now this latest has 588.

I'm have no problems downloading You Tube videos using the download URL feature. Perhaps if you supply a Log file the team could find an answer for you.
