Calculation problems
Seems version 2.1.1.27 has problems calculating quality level when setting video bitrate. For MKV's as well as PS3 MP4's it will claim that video quality will be low for an output rate of 6000 Kb/s (H264 - Hardware). It states quality will be at 44%. This may well be true for 1080p, but the issue is...

Beta 2.0.0.7 slooow.....
Are you sure CUDA is enabled in this version? I get roughly 13 fps with this version versus appr. 66 fps with version 2.0.0.6. Same video, same conditions.

Cropping in beta 2.0.0.6
Trying to crop black areas from blu-ray and convert to mp4/H264 HD as well as HD-Ready. Crashes out, log claims libswscale is missing/can't be found. Removed cropping, everything seems to work. (On a side note : Any real advantages to cropping? Was thinking that not having to recode those blacks wou...

Re: MKV Subs
MKV subs still possibly not working properly with 1.4.0.2. Tested with "Battle Los Angeles". It starts with a sequence of subs that are displayed fairly shortly. With VLC, majority of those subs are not displayed. VLC also skips seconds here and there, for instance min 2.22->2.26. VSO Medi...

Re: MKV Subs
Hi, Tested once more yesterday (movie :"Battle Los Angeles") Same as with the movie prevíously mentioned, some "stacking" and a delay. For further confusion (at least to me :-]) I'll want to mention that I also converted a DVD with DVD Converter Ultimate (movie was sci-fi comedy ...

Re: MKV Subs
Hi, Seems to not be 100% solved. MKV subs are delayed, by possibly up to a second (no "drifting", delay seems to be the same in the beginning and in the end of the movie), and the "stacking" issue is still visible every now and then, mainly when subs come fairly close to each oth...

MKV Subs
Hi, Seem to have a problem with latest version (1.3.0.1). Subs are displayed in black with blue borders with the (latest) VSO media player, but even worse is that with VLC subs are "stacked", i.e. previous subtitles stay on screen when next subs are displayed. If I turn subs off, all subs ...

Quality based h264? (and:things are improving)
I have tested latest beta briefly, and the audio sync problems I previously experienced with AVI files seem to have been minimised, at least with "high compatibility" set for audio. Also made an MKV, can't get subtitles to display in MS media player (probably some codec or similar is not p...

Re: VBR sound in AVI??
I have already tried the PS3 conversion profiles but gave up on it, basically because it seems that no matter the settings it will produce files with a bit rate around 500k, which isn't exactly high quality :-). It may be that I'm doing something wrong here, in which case I would appreciate some gui...

ABR in AVI?
Hi I am using both the BluRAY Converter Ultimate and the DVD converter beta, and I face the same issue with both applications: The encoded audio (be it MP3 or whatever, I haven't checked thoroughly) is seemingly VBR or ABR, not CBR (constant bitrate). The .avi files created play fine on my PC, but u...
