[Feature Request] Can you add images to the Timeline?

On the timeline why dont the audio and subtitles align with the start of each video segment?
How can i set it to align? or how do i end the SRT to align the subtitles?

Is there an way to add images and have the program encode the frames?

What is the best resize filter?

1. Best quality
2. best general use
3. fastest?

Is there no way to re-assemble video scenes without re-encoding or just re-recoding a few frames at the start and end of scenes?
