Guessing that file:DTSHDSpOut.txt (was empty - zero bytes) is created by VSO CX2DVD. If so, a) why is it saved to C Root and b) why is not deleted? I deleted it.

I suppose it is NOT created by CxD.
Googling that file shows a lot of different malware products doing complete search, usually related to trojans.
Most of them are quite old so any current antivirus/antimalware should detect what ever saved that file.
Check your system completely!

Thanks. I'm certain it is not malware. Norton Security is good for alerting me. Google replies often return with files being malware. It was probably poor clean up from another media product I have.
