Sound Events do not always play

More information for a prior post from myself and others who have experienced this issue

Using latest CX2V .70 but not version dependent.

1. I dragged one video into program. It converted and the "completed" dialog popped up and Sound Event "Process Completed" was heard.
2. Deleted the above source video
3. Dragged in another video. It converted, the "completed dialog popped up but the Sound Event "Process Completed" was NOT heard.

Note: I did not close CX2V between conversions. This may be significant when trying to experience the problem. FYI: I do not have Realtek audio.

Also, I realize I could have dragged in both videos and had the program convert each of them. Not related to the problem but wanted to assure you that I am aware of that feature.
