Adding a font

I could not find the answer to this anywhere so perhaps someone can help me.
I am using CXD 7.0.0.40.

I'm trying to "load" a font called WindDings so that I can add some "symbols" to
the menus.

I have tried several ways to do this but I cannot seem to make it work.

Any suggestions?

PS: I noticed that there are some fonts that look like symbols on the drop down
box in the menu options but they don't seem to do anything. Everything I type in
becomes letters, etc. but no symbols.
