Re: DVD and Blu-ray Converter beta versions 4.0.0.82
Hi,
all bonuses when selected are 645 GB ... that's not possible
and the one selected asks for 42 GB and is only 18 min HD (finally the m2ts file only has 3,03 GB).
I have 200 GB free on hard disc and can not write all bonuses because software says "too less space on destination" ,)
Using 4.0.0.82 .. BR

Re: DVD and Blu-ray Converter beta versions 4.0.0.82
I see your 645 and I raise to 996
On the other hand as my example your source may contain angles or versions or even items using the same m2ts files. Those titles once expanded take much more space than the source.
There's an issue with our size calculation for remuxing BD, at the moment any items's size is the whole size which gets bad values, this will be partially solved. EDIT: When I say partially solved it's because it is extremelly difficult to extract the accurate size from a Blu-ray item without undergoing time consuming actions. On the other hand as my example your source may contain angles or versions or even items using the same m2ts files. Hi,
thanks.
From experience I know the results of a BR film rip in .m2ts which is between 20-35 GB.
I know that I have enough space on my drive so it would be great to have an option to say "continue yes/no" when the warning appears - incl. and option "show warning in the future yes/no" (also enable/disable in options).
Currently I can only press OK - which means I have to rip on another HD and then to move the file to the final harddisc.
Yes - I fill up my hard discs until 5-10 GB free.
btw: I always select only one angle.
thanks.

I rather fix the output size calculation that add an option that will cause more issues than it will fix, because everybody wil click continue anymay .dosibo51 wrote:Hi,

Used for a month there were no problems.
After the latest version, problems began.
I even had to register on the forum now that I had solved the problem
When will the new version come out with edits?

Using trhe beta .83 version, it created a file size too large to fit on a 25gb disk. Estimated size was supposed to be 21.4 gb and it created a file 29.3 gb.

Re: DVD and Blu-ray Converter beta versions 4.0.0.83
I did some more testing and I found out that GPU quicksync is not working in this version. It quickly did something but not quite right. I went back to .82 beta and now quicksync is now working. Still testing....
Upon going back .82 and on two different computers, both have the same motherboard, but one has the i5-2500 and the other has i5-2500K processors.
Using the same file, as mentioned previously, the i5-2500 has a throughput of 65.3 FPS. the i5-2500K has a throughput of 26.5 FPS. Note that the i5-2500 has HD2000 graphics, and the i5-2500K has HD3000 Graphics. Why is there so much difference between the two processors and yet the i5-2500K is a better and unlocked processor with better graphics. The speeds of the processors is the same. The motherboards are the same, the memory is the same.
After burning the final movies onto blu ray (erasable). The i5-2500 with the fast FPS created the best copy.
The i5-2500K final result had lots of macro blocking (pixelation) on the disk. (With the slowest FPS). I'm not sure why that would be that their is something going on with the creation.
Now if I shut the GPU off on the 2500K, the results are perfect. And so the there is something going on with the i5-2500K settings for the HD3000 GPU.
Upon looking up graphics drivers for Windows 10 and HD3000, currently there is no support for HD3000 yet. That may be the problem, why it won't work properly. Note: Sandy Bridge 2nd Generation processors.

Re: DVD and Blu-ray Converter beta versions 4.0.0.83
I found after my computer wouldn't start up, (tried many times to fix the startup but couldn't), I reloaded the whole system again, and now I'm getting 50 - 60 fps. It had to be something that windows creator fall upgrade didn't work quite right.Using the same file, as mentioned previously, the i5-2500 has a throughput of 65.3 FPS. the i5-2500K has a throughput of 26.5 FPS.
