Size on DVD

Post by pdophoto »

Hi everyone
I am new to this program and don't want to loose time and material.
So how can I get the size of the files on DVD before burning it.
Or can I add another file or does the file(s) fit on a DVD.
If the question was answered please refer to it.
Regards,
Pierre

On the bottom left corner of the interphase you should see the indication of the space that the movie would occupy on a DVD. You will be adviced if you should use a double layer DVD for better quality.

Hi Coral,
Sorry to be so late to reply, I was programming Adobe Bridge with a new menu and didn't notice my email notice
I am using version 7.0.0.56
On the left corner I see: 1 titleset(s), Total time ~ 02:22:49
This doesn't tell me how much space is taken by the files on DVD
Is there a way to change it to indicate 1.23 GB free from 4.37 GB which would be quite practical

Thanks for your prompt reply, it is greatly appreciated
Regards,
Pierre

Hello Pierre,
What I meant is the indicator with the 3 different colours as in the attached picture.
This should give you an indication of the converted movie quality according to the DVD media in use (single layer or double layer)
