I notice that, after files have been converted, as the count down starts for a project to auto start burning to Blu Ray
This message pops up:
It recommends that half the max speed is used for best results
It's set at 6x speed [which is the max speed for the 50gb Blu Ray I'm using]
The options are 4x, 2x, or 1x
Should I try to burn at 2x?
Is there going to be any real difference
I guess I'm not in a hurry so am happy to do it at 1x - if that will give me better results
I'm just not convinced what is improved by the slower rate?
And how do I change the burn speed - as most the time I'm not at the computer when the 'count down' to auto burn flashes up after a project has been 'converted' from files
Thanks for any info or help

Re: Recommends half the max burn speed for best results
in default setting burning, can set burn speed. I always burn at slowest speed for BD50 as they are dual layer disks and are expensive
"web research" I have done in past says for slower burn is better unless they are really high quality disks. I have had problems burning dual layer DVD9 at X8, but they are cheap disks
