HEVC Format - Supported?

I came across this video format while downloading. Does COnvertXtoDVD support this HEVC Video format?

Why does generating DVD with ConvertXtoDVD 7.00.64 appear in image conversion in light gray looking like image negative? See attached image.
This happens using standard HEVC 265 files with resolution: 720x480, 29.97 fps and bit rate close to 2000 kbps.

happens both when I use a file and when I use multiple mp4 video files (hevc 265)

Ok - few things that might cause problems but should not:
You are still on Win8 - some codecs expect to use always latest (should not be an issue)
You are using old version 7.0.0.47 - might be a problem. Try updating and converting again.

I rewritten the latest version of ConvertxtoDVD 7.00.64 and the result was the same error as above.
here are the generated log files.

Ok, there seems to bug in CxDVD7 or it just needs updating.

Your sample file is done with QuickTime and uses slightly non-standard encoding:

• Metadata:
  major_brand : qt
  minor_version : 512
  compatible_brands: qt
  encoder : Lavf55.33.100

This is from working x265 file:

• Metadata:
  major_brand : iso4
  minor_version : 1
  compatible_brands: iso4hvc1

Also you can see in preview that first picture is good, but when you try to preview more it causes this grey picture, which is actually just parts of video that have changed since last full frame.
This example is using very tight packing and might actually break x265 rules just to get it in smaller size. Plays fine but really hard to convert.

I did not find more information about what are "standards" for x265 so VSO needs to handle this.

Actually that sample file of yours crashed VLC player so that I had to kill it as it was not responding.
So there is something on that encoding of that file.

This file is normal in VLC Player 2.28 view. standard H265 Larger file data is in the attached image.

So can not VSO convert the H265 file to DVD standard? These and other files are having the same behavior. So how can I do it?

It looks like this my file was generated from Adobe Premiere by the person who sent me the same. So the way would be to turn this file into H264 and then use the X7 Converter?

Could you guys hit this issue of the H265 quicktime standard so that the ConvertXtoDVD product is compatible with generating DVD using this apple codec? I would appreciate it since all the files I receive are of the same H265 standard shown above and consequently give the same error.
Because otherwise the use of the software ConvertXtoDVD for me is no longer justified because they are the files I use the most.
Rationale: I get these files via the internet and so I use the H265 standard which is the one that most compresses the size of the files making it easy to download.

VSO might be able to fix this just like they have been adding support for new codecs and encoding methods always. But they seem to be very busy right now so it might take a while.
At the moment you can decode it to H264 and then use CxDVD7, but that decoding takes a lot of time and disc space.

Another question is: why is original encoder using that encoding when actual size saving is minimal compared to fully compliant standard?

I just finished converting your sample file to H264 and it can be easily converted now, quality looks about the same but size is only minimal compared to original.

Sincerely, I do not know. I just know that the file comes with this encoding. I expect the ConvertxtoDVD development team to update it as soon as possible to fix this bug.
