Hi Everyone!
I have a Japanese DVD only in Japanese audio with no subs.
It has 3 episodes on it.
I want to add English subtitles for each episode.
I need guidance on how to approach this.
1) I do have 3 separate sub files (.ass) for each episode.
Can I set up a template that will assign each of the subs to the correct episode in DVD7?
Or
2) Do I need to combine the subs into one file and edit space timing between each episode to match?
I do know the number of minutes on the DVD before the next episode begins.
Or
3) Do i need to completely disassemble the DVD with dvd tools out side of DVD7,
and put it back together again, before trying to burn it with DVD7?
Thanks so much for any help with this!
Jeff

Hello,
I haven't use ConvertXtoDVD in years, but if I recall, if your Subtitle file is named the "Same Thing" as your video file, it will load it and associate it to this video.
Episode_101.mp4
Episode_101.srt
Episode_101.ass
Try that

Hey, just read your message again in details, so you have downloaded the subtitles from the web, but are converting the episodes from an existing DVD ?
You may need to go in Details Settings and load the proper sub for each episodes before conversion.

Thanks Cougar II for your input!
so i will have to separate the episodes; outside of the dvd7 software, into
(such as .mp4, .avi, .mkv)
before i can add each sub to its episode?
OR
does dvd7 recognize a DVDs .VOB and episode divisions?
Thanks again,
Jeff
