How to Enter a Hard Return

Is it possible to create a menu item with two or more lines?
Sometimes called "Hard return", CTRL +Return

I'm not entirely sure you can do it with a hard return, but a workaround might be to add trailing spaces between what you want to be the first line and the second. This will require a little trial and error to get the margins right, though.
