Can CXD make slideshows from a series of JPG files? Like display each for 5 seconds one after the other? I didn't see any way it could, but maybe I'm missing something.
Thanks!

Re: Slideshows?
PhotoDVD does just that with various settings, including background music.
Downside is resolution, only DVD which is not good enough these days.

Re: Slideshows?
With an upscaling DVD player like my PS3, the video quality shouldn't be so bad.
I supposed I could use PhotoDVD to create a VIDEO_TS of slideshows and then import that VIDEO_TS.IFO into a CXD project. Depends on how PhotoDVD authors its contents.
I see PhotoDVD hasn't been updated in almost a decade.

Re: Slideshows?
Quality might be ok with upscaling but you will lose detail.
Most recent digital photos have resolution better than 2K.
DVD supports max 720x576 which is less than one quarter of 2K.
That resolution was fine 10 years ago but not anymore. Of course it still is max for DVD.
