VSO Downloader v6.0.0.83 New Setting: Prefer Speed Over Quality

Hello everyone,

After installing VSO Downloader v6.0.0.83 I noticed that when adding videos, the software did NOT auto select the highest resolution...

From VSO Developper:

We've added in v6.0.83 a hack parameter for our sources selection algorithm, it's controlled through the 'Prefer Speed over quality' options:

We enabled it by default because common users:
-download only music from youtube
-and prefer download speed over quality...

If you uncheck this option, the algorithm will choose according resolution preference

So like me, if you always want the highest resolution, uncheck this option in the settings

How do I download this version, cause I only see version 6.0.0.82 on main page.

Hi,

Software update should update to this revision…

In settings you can select when to check for updates *or* manually check, check bottom left for “check for updates”
