Video not downloading

I tried to download it using latest version of vsodownloader. Received error message to switch to radar mode. I did this but file still does not download.
Most likely will be sorted out when next update released.

I tried in radar mode BUT with my youtube account activated on the page of my browser and I was able to download the video

When you say activated. What do you mean please? I am logged into my youtube account and cannot see any "activate" option in the web browser.

Yes, just log on to youtube, afterward try to use radar mode

Youtube says Sign In to validate your age, this is why you need to be logged in your youtube channel.

Once logged in, in theory is still should download with link, but hey if Radar worked, stick with what works

Manual mode - vso asks for youtube log in credentials, entered these, but file does not download.
Switch to radar mode and download worked

It works only with radar in this case because Youtube needs a Sign In to validate your age

No matter what I try I get an error after downloading. Yes I am signed in on YT and I am verified.
Even tried a 100% clean install of VSO, still same problem.

Been using VSO-Ultimate since 2012.
I've been very happy with VSO but the problems with YT is forcing me to find another tool for my needs.
Lately these errors has been happening way to often, a little tired of using so much time trying to make something work and often to no avail.
Often is it fixed when the engine is updated but only for a short time.
Have to say it's not all videos on YT but still annoying when it's a video you really would like to download.

I'm on windows 11Pro 64bit (New clean install) dont think that's the reason as I had same problems on my windows 10Pro 64bit too.

Thank you for your offer, but as I said in my answer to the suportmail I got, I do not grant anyone remote access to my computers.
Nothing personal I'm just very strict with my security.

If it's something you would be able to do to fix it on my computer, why not share the solution here so anyone with same problem now and in the future have the possibility to make it work.

Try following:
1. Open youtube and play it
2. Copy the link into vso in Manual mode, then when vso asks for youtube log in credentials, entered these.
3. Then switch to radar mode and wait a while and vso should now download it

I'll wait for the next engine update and see if that'll fix it.

No idea what could be wrong...

I went to Youtube, and LOGGED IN my account.
Yes I have my proper date of birth so youtube knows I am more than 18 or more than 21...

It's downloading fine right now...

I never really got the Downloader enter your credentials in the software to work in the past, to be revisited...

Finally. I think I've pinpointed the culprit.

I've never used the convert, left it blank so I would just get the video in what ever format it was posted.

Video do download, but when it's finalizing it will fail if "convert" is left blank. At least it does on my end.

Setting the convert to MKV and finalising will work just fine.

Here is a couple of snaps.

In short.
Convert left at nothing will make finalize fail, if set to MKV it will work just fine.

Was never a problem before v6

Hope this can help other people who might battle this problem now or in the future.
