Did TubiTV change something? Unable to download!!! I was able to download from tubiTv until today, now it says 0 urls supported for downloads on the old VSO down loader and on the new 6.0119 trial version it wants my TubiTV login credentials but a password is not required! What bis going on???
If I can't download from TubiTV I will not be paying for the new 6.0 version!

An existing bug report was reported a while back with v5

0013926: [FFMPEG SAMPLE-AES encryption is not supported yet] Unsupported tubitv.com : multiple empty files

Here is one of the comments from one of the developer at the time (No longer working for VSO )

require nighty ffmpeg for AES encryption support

So I assume this won't be a quick and easy fix, sorry to tell you that

Hi,

I am just a simple user like you, I do not work for VSO

Several sites do not work with VSO Downloader, because their sites now have all sorts of encryption:

AES encryption
DRM encryption
Dash with DRM encryption
HLS with DRM Apple Fairplay

So in the future, I am unsure if VSO Downloader will ever work on those sites, because of they could they might be breaking several laws so they won't do it and or the sites like even YouTube changes there stream stuff, so VSO needs to keep updating their "Engine" so downloads keeps working.

Good luck finding another software that will work, I assume all other companies may face the same issues, they won't break the law and/or not spend time breaking all those protections...

I just saw this on their website:

For legal reasons Downloader doesn't support DRM protected videos (Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ and other platforms of this kind).

So I wonder if Tubi.TV might work in the future --> [FFMPEG SAMPLE-AES encryption is not supported yet]

Thanks for the reply, I am aware VSO downloader won't do DRM but there are lots of files on Tubi.TV that are not DRM. Downloader was working on the non DRM files until about a week or so ago. The movie you tried to download from Tubi TV with v6.1.0.124 (https://tubitv.com/movies/599600/the-green-mile) is DRM protected. This one is not https://tubitv.com/movies/673674/exterminators. I can tell when one is DRM because it shows the symbol in my browser. I am not interested in DRM ones. Maybe this will be fixed in the future??
