Dear Support,
It seems Vimeo has recently updated their playlist.json file where the URLs now have pathsig as a querystring parameter. I believe this is breaking the download of Viemo videos.
The videos I am trying to download are from a private embedded page. VSO detects them in the radar mode but it is not able to download them.
Is the team aware about this change breaking things and is someone going to work on fixing this issue?
Best Regards,
achugh

Hi,
Version 135 fixed some Facebook issues for me, I also use Firefox...
There was also an Engine Update, wonder if those 2 updates would also fix your Vimeo issues...

Hi Cougar_II
Thank you for helping with creation of the ticket. I responded to the ticket that got opened using the Bug Reporting via the app.
When I opened the app just now, it downloaded some update. This is what's shown after the update.
Program version: 6.1.0.134
Engine Version: 2024.12.06
I believe 135 version is a beta version hence it did not get downloaded. These Vimeo videos are private and embedded. I can login to see and view them. Because they are private VSO is not able to download them. This is a defect in VSO because Vimeo is looking for some specific Origin and Referrer HTTP headers that VSO should be able to capture using its built-in proxy and use them but it does not and hence gets into an error. I do not believe 135 fixes this issue.
I was not using Firefox because RADAR was detecting the media so I don't believe this 135 update fixes anything for me yet.

Hello, added your comments to the bug report. Let’s see what Jacques says, and/or when the bug will get resolved
Re: Vimeo Download Issues with 6.1.0.134
Thank you for updating the Bug report.
There was a time in VSO v5.x where one could manually specify the HTTP headers via the INFO window that opens. It will be great if this ability is added again so that I could send the headers I know will work when VSO is not able to figure them out on its own like what is happening right now.
