Have never messed with this setting. Some of my movies come out 'normal' (O.K.), some I have to turn up the volume on my DVD player. I realize the old - garbage in garbage out - may apply regarding the 'files' that I use. Just wondering if I should try changing the setting of -3.0db to something else. Obviously the movies that 'now' come out O.K., maybe they would then be too "loud". Just wondering.
That's it.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Hello,
In the near future, ConvertXtoDVD 64 bits Beta should be released. A whole new encoding engine using the latest ffmpeg engine will be used.
When this new 64bits version is released, we should test with a video with low volume and burn to DVD+RW and test.
Increase the value a little, test again until we are satisfied with the volume, and see if it behaves like the 32 bits version or works better….

I realized that besides that audio dB slider, there is a “Parse” button…eddie11013 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 01, 2025 5:24 am Have never messed with this setting. Click on it and let it analyze your audio stream, it will decide which dB value to use !
I have 2 videos with very low audio, parsing added +7.6dB and now wow much better volume.

Sorry, I don't see a 'parse' button. Can you provide more info, maybe picture. I'm using version 7.0.0.83
Thanks in advance
