Access violation 0.24 when starting conversion

Post by Paddy2007 »

I get an access violation everytime I try to start the conversion in 0.24.
Regardless of output profile chosen. Tried with different Bluray sources.

Also tried to use your bugtracking software but I could not find how to start a new topic there so I am using the forum instead.

Using the registered, goldmember, version of the software.

Hi Paddy2007,

I must check/fix/improve all single file profiles for fututre version, but like we will launch Blu-ray to DVD software first, I'm working on DVD output profile at this time.

I will do a quick fix for your access violation in iPad profile for next release (0.0.2.5), and I will improve bitrate management (...and quality) in a future release.

To add a new isuue in our bug tracking system, select "Blu-ray converter Ultimate" in top right selector (after logging) then click on "Report issue". Fill all fields requested then click on "Submit report".

Thank you for your feedback.

Sorry to say cedric but this is not specific to iPad (single file) profiles. Exact same thing when choosing DVD as output. Please see screendump.

I only have "viewer" status in the bugtracking software. How do I change that status?

If this issue appear with all profiles, I have a problem for sure :(

I can see your DVD menu template list in background is empty?

To be sure is not a problem with your snapshot, can you confirm this list is really empty?

That can be the cause of your issues (do you use a x64 OS?).

I updated your profile in bugs report, you can report issue(s) now.

Thank you.

The DVD menu template list is empty. In the upgrade from 0.23 to 0.24 they disappeared. I run Win 7 ultimate 32 bit.

Thanks for the profile update. Will log on and check it out.

I have now entered it into your bug tracking software.

A few hints from a fellow developer regarding bug tracking.

I found it strange that Windows 7 profile was not available for selection since It is a popular OS. Also strange not to be able to select the build I am reporting the error on of the software.

See it as my 2 cents to make life easier regarding bug tracking and regression handling.

The problem is solved. There is no crash anymore and the menu templates are back.

Please close the ticket in the mantis system.
