Blu-Ray Converter Ultimate 1.2.0.6 to MKV subtitle problem

Post by Beto »

Hello guys. I´m using Blu-Ray Converter Ultimate 1206 and when I convert to MKV selecting subtitles, they appear in the middle of the field to the left. I demuxed the MKV and I get a .xml tag and no .srt subtitles, which I prefer because they are editable. Does anybody have same problem? Can I set converter to give an .SRT subtitle file instead of .XML? I tried subtitle settings under Settings tab, but when I click it nothing happens. In time: I use KM Player as my default player, and I have Any DVD HD. Thanx guys.

Hi,

Like MKV subtitles are encoded as DVD SUB streams, you can't retrieve them as .srt file.
The only way to convert a "picture" subtitle as srt file is by using an OCR software...

Have you tried to play your file with VLC?

Thank you.

Thank YOU cedric. Hadn´t ocurred to me what you said. I have the OCR software but have got no idea on how to ocr the "picture" subs! Not tried VLC so far, but KM Player plays all my stuff fine, wouldn´t like to install another player, but probably I´ll give it a try, although I prefer KM amongst them all. Thanx again.

Hi,

I've just compiled a new beta version (1.2.0.10).Tried with KMPlayer (it seems to be a really good player...) with success (subtitles displayed at good place):

You will found the beta version download link on bottom of first post...

I'm waiting for your feedback...

Thank you!
