Hello.
I'm interested in this so i checked out the trial version.
I keep getting this error when trying to convert the bluray. [see log below]
Using:
AnyDVD HD 6.8.1.0
CPU AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+
OS WinXP x86
Motherboard Asus M2N SLI Deluxe
Memory Kingston DDR2 4096MBytes
GPU NVidia GeForce 8600 GTS ....2 exactly the same cards in SLI mode
Windows is up to date
nVidia Driver 275.33 [note: i saw here that this driver version is supposedly conflicting with this program thus does it match my error log too for your investigations with other users here?]
I"ve tried loading from my blu-ray disc and also from a blu-ray folder[ripped using AnyDVD HD] but with same error message.
I've also tried various settings but either the result is as in the log file, OR Blu-Ray Converter Ultimate just shows "Checking files, please wait..." forever until i have to cancel the conversion process.
Any ideas?

Re: Conversion Error - Trial Version
For some reason these NVidia drivers do cause problems with various components.
When I changed my bootdrive to SSD I got crashes and BS. Same error message as yours.
Updating to certified NVidia drivers was the solution, no problems after that - before updating to latest, same problem as you have.

Re: Conversion Error - Trial Version
tnx for the reply. :)
when u mentioned "certified" ie WHQL, it got me thinking also about my board's chipset/southbridge.... nForce 570 SLI..... used the disc which came with it when i had to reinstall my system a couple weeks ago due to other issues....i'm lucky i saved it because the drivers for my board at Asus wouldn't install!.....word to the wise, save all install discs regardless of age just in case!
back to this issue......just for the heck of it, i uninstalled ALL nVidia drivers.....graphics, board, and even my nVidia purevideo decoder.
rebooted, ran Blu-ray Converter Ultimate[trial] and it worked!
i then installed the latest WHQL driver for my board.... 15.46_nforce_winxp32_international_whql.exe
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
rebooted, ran Blu-ray Converter Ultimate[trial] and still working!
i then reinstalled my Graphics driver.... 275.33-desktop-winxp-32bit-english-whql.exe
rebooted, ran Blu-ray Converter Ultimate[trial].....got the same error messages as my above pics.
uninstalled 275.33, and started working backwards for earlier releases of WHQL.... http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us
prior to 275.33 is 270.61 which was released on April 18,2011
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp-270. ... river.html
installed, rebooted, ran Blu-ray Converter Ultimate[trial]....and it worked!
not sure if it matters or not but i see that Blu-ray Converter Ultimate [version: 1.2.0.14] was released on April 21,2011
conclusion, it looks like i only needed to install an older driver version for my graphics card but updated my board drivers to WHQL just for the heck of it.
hope someone else can use this thread if they have the same issues. :)

Re: Conversion Error - Trial Version
Confirm that, just the latest graphic drivers 275.33 cause this. Fallback to 270.61 and no problems.
