Here is a beta version of our Media Player.
Having a media player is kind of a side result of the development of our other products. We have decided to make it available to VSO clients in case it can be of any help to them.

Download VSO Media Player Beta version 0.1.1.189

More things will be added with time, but it is not really meant to be a product in and of itself. There are many other fantastic players that exist already.

*Users should find our player works particularly well with Blu-ray files and folders. (If files are read from an optical drive a decyrptor is needed such as AnyDVD).

Nonetheless if you find any crashing or files the player does not support, it would be kind of you to inform us. You can report them here in the forum or send them via the main website contact form, or to be by email: claire(at)vsosoftware.fr

FYI: Currently subtitles + flac files are not supported.

Precision:
External subtitles are indeed not supported but, Blu-ray, m2ts, DVD & Mkv subtitles are.

I tried the player and it looked good.
But I had to remove it as it does not allow changing audio device. I use two audio devices, one for background music and movies, and other for games etc.

Got to say, I love it. It's compact, small footprint, uses minimal resources and loads fast. So far, I've had no problems with either video or audio.

Just... subtitles. Will support for external subtitle files be added? I'm thinking of .srt files in particular.

I have to agree with Pantyboy about needing support for subtitles. I wouldn't mind trying the player but won't bother unless it supports external subtitles.

Thanx for the feedback.

Yes we agree that external subtitles is a must have, but for now the player is still in an early beta phase.
The possibility to add external subtitles will be included in a later version.
