No Chapters on DVD

I'm using version 1.2.1.7, but I've had this problem on the last 2 versions also. When I convert from blu-ray to DVD, I choose the option to keep source chapters. However, the DVD does not have chapters - only 1 "chapter" that is the entire length of the movie.

I recently noticed this.
Try adding individual files, to burning program.
As they are present in C:\Users\user name\Documents\VSOBlurayConverter\Film title\PAL 16_9(NTSC)\VIDEO_TS

Yes & no.

It doesn't appear to work in latest versions, when burning (auto/via Blu-ray Converter).
As I use this to store movies on HDD for media library.
I haven't checked this aspect before.
However, I find that if you want this feature.
As Blu-ray Converter does in fact store the files.
Using an alternative in the burn process.
Whether manual or third party s/w.
This will work for now.
I have no doubt that in the forseeable such glitches will be consigned to history.

In fact my impression always was that indeed no chapters are created at all, but up to now I was not completely sure if this is an issue with the SW players I tried. I might also add that I'd really like an automatically chapter menu as already supported by ConvertXtoDVD...

The "Keep Source Chapters" option has worked with older versions of the program. It has only been in the last couple of versions where it hasn't worked.

What you say may well be fact.
"Chapters & files are two completely different things".
I never said otherwise.
But I know if you use a third party DVD progam (Slysoft in my case).
The resulting burned DVD will have have said chapters.
When the Video files are singular they don't.
So if you save "Chapters".
But they are not present in the finalised burnt DVD.
(When using Blu-ray Converter).
Using ClonDVD they will be.
At least in my experience.
So I am saying that the data is there, if selected.
Just does not materialise when using same program to write to disc.
This to me is a glitch.
Which in the short can be worked around.
If the user feels it important enough.

I just burned a copy using the same converted file with Copy To DVD. There were no chapters on this disc either.
