Low sound problem

Hello,

first of all, congrats for your great software (Blu-Ray Converter Ultimate v1.2.0.14).
I still have a little issue. The sound level of the DVDs I rip is much lower than the one of the original BD (and much lower than the one of retail DVDs), so that it is difficult to hear on my portable device (NextBase Click 9 Lite Duo Deluxe), even at maximum sound level. Moreover, the output sound level is different from one DVD rip to another. Is there any workaround to this problem?

Hi jeff75006,

This problem is due to audio channels downmix/upmix (converting a 6 channels stream to 2 channels stream for example), that's why you can't reproduce the problem for all Blu-ray discs.
Like bonuses are often encoded as stereo, but main movie as multi channels, a converted DVD Video (with Blu-ray Converter) can have the main movie audio track level lower than bonuses.

To fix this problem, I added a new setting allowing to normalise the audio track level...

You will found it in advanced settings (located on bottom of profile selector, step 2).
You can try by setting the "audio boost" level to 50%, then check the result.

The 1.2.1.20 beta works perfectly now on my computer. I'll let you you if the "sound booster" works as soon as i can test it on my portable device, maybe next week.
