dvd to divx

Please help me to convert my DVD to divx. I have just bought the latest DVD Concerter and it simly do not show the option of converting to divx. I bought is specifically to this operation.

Divx isn't specifically listed but Xvid is and hopefully that will do your job. Once you have loaded your file to convert, pick generic avi, then on the next screen use the drop down box/icon to select your codec, in this case Xvid and whatever resolution option you want.

BTW I recommend u using the .21 beta rather than .19 as it fixes several annoying bugs that I had been experiencing.
