PRO-version / Ultimate version

We are working on a Pro version of VSO Downloader that will have more features than what is currently available in the free version.

The pro version will be available sometime in 2012.

"Pro" has been changed to the word "Ultimate".

The "Ultimate version is now available.

The Ultimate version:
- detects streams from even more sites
- users can convert to high quality MP3 format

Any plans to add RTMP support to the Pro version? It would make the product stand out since there are very few good products that support this protocol.

Thanks for the information. This will make the product quite unique and it would entice many, I believe, to procure a Pro version with a price tag.

I'd like more clarification on this. I see nothing on the site that says anything about "Pro" or "Ultimate" relating to VSO Downloader. Even the email with license code only says "VSO Downloader 2". The program itself shows "Register Ultimate" in the menu and then when it's registered shows "Pro" in the "About" menu. Seems the makers are having a hard time deciding what they want to call it. I also see nothing on the site that tells what the differences are between the Trial and paid versions.

Would be nice if someone clears all this up cause I'm confused.

The program itself shows "Register Ultimate" in the menu and then when it's registered shows "Pro" in the "About" menu.

Thanks for pointing this out it will be corrected and changed to Ultimate instead of "Pro".

We will also change the email with the license to also display the word "Ultimate".

and difference between the free and Ulitmate version is that the Ultimate version
- works with more sites (does not limit to 50% of downloading)
- converts to mp3 high quality
- you get priority support help
- more features will be added

as more things are supported we will update the product page do show what features are only available in the Ultimate version.
