which product to use?

Post by peters4n6 »

New goldmember who had experience only with ConvertXDVD in converting AVI to DVD. Now that I have the whole suite of programs I have been playing around a bit.

Looking to simply copy an unprotected DVD (with menus) to another DVD. In the past I would create an ISO with ImgBurn and then burn that ISO to my writable media. What is the best practice with VSO products?
It seems like I could do what I have done in the past (create ISO) with CopyTo or I could use DVD Converter Ultimate to recreate that pretty simply (but why would I want to "convert"?), or it seems I could drag a folder with the VIDEO_TS file into the main window of ConvertXDVD.

What's your best simple DVD-to-DVD option?

thanks

If you want to make exact copy then use CopyTo.
ConvertX does not keep original menu, but it can "squeeze" DVD9 to DVD5, or convert from PAL to NTSC or NTSC to PAL.
