Not enough space on DVD(dual layer)

I've been converting my Blurays to DVD(direct to disk conversion) and it's all gone really well apart from one so far
Eagle Eye Bluray...117mins
No extras added, no subtitles

but it says, after conversion, that there is not enough free space on the DVD(DVD +R DL 8X 240min 8.5GB)

Am I missing something really simple?
