Re: DVD Converter: new version available! (2.0.0.4)
Hi,
I'm working on AVI stuttering problem now...
Can you try to convert as mp4 format (PS3, XBOX...) to confirm this problem is only with AVI container?
Thank you.

Hi,
I sent you a remote desktop assistance request by email...
If all output formats are not working, I think there's a problem in source load and I want to confirm it.
Thank you for your help!

Re: DVD Converter: new version available! (2.0.0.4)
i email from a different computer from the one i encode on (no internet etc on encoding computer)
its an obvious fault with program so can't understand why you dont fix?
if i go back to 1.4.0.8 everything works
if this continues then i suppose ive wasted my money

Re: DVD Converter: new version available! (2.0.0.4)
I can't fix your problem because I tried to reproduce it on our 12 test computers without problem...
I don't know why you're saying you wasted your money, if the version your bought ( 1.4.0.8 ) is working fine?
The version 2 your'e using is in beta state and is not for sale at this time.
Regards.

Re: DVD Converter: new version available! (2.0.0.4)
because allthough it works most of time there have been probs in past
if i pay for a program i expect it to work completely without problems all the time
i know the new one is a beta but using it ( especially when its got some new features) ive encountered a problem in the program and your saying its me
i have since tried 4 different films with the same low def xvid and the output everytime starts to play perfectly then now and again stutters and picture breaks up EVERY TIME

Re: DVD Converter: new beta version available! (2.0.0.6)
load in a video.....set profile.......then as soon as you click the window for settings it locks up
also if you load in video then select an output folder it also locks up (ok if you set output folder first)

Hi,
How can you select an output folder if you can't open the setting windows?
Please, can you start on a fresh install after uninstalling and deleting the Blu-ray converter registry tree (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VSO\Blu-ray Converter Ultimate\2.0)
Thank you.

Re: DVD Converter: new beta version available! (2.0.0.6)
because the setting window is where the picture window comes up (and lets you do the video editing)
the output options are in a different place (advanced settings bottom right of screen - general settings etc)
they are nowhere near each other........
also your telling me now about bluray converter and im using dvd converter.............

Re: DVD Converter: new beta version available! (2.0.0.6c)
Hello,
ok, by setting windows you means video edition tools.
I fixed program lock when opening video edition tool (pad/crop) in 2.0.0.6c version.
Please download the new file then retry.
The registry key tree you must remove for DVD Converter to start with a clean install is:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VSO\DVD Converter Ultimate\2.0
Regards.

just did a clean as you described......reinstalled and when you load in a dvd and the preview bar comes up if you click on it to go to the video edit options it still locks up the whole program.........if you dont click on this and just press start it works fine

Re: DVD Converter: new beta version available! (2.0.0.6c)
tried region 2 dvd of cleaner (samuel l jackson)
avi came out with black bars all round it so presume i need to go into video edit as it looks like the pad problem which i originally reported is still there but as stated if you click to go in there now it locks up
also the avi came out completely out of sync
thanks
Paul
