Download Stops At 75%

Using latest version 2.9.5.8 on Win XP and Win 7 laptop.
Single or multiple downloads stop at 75%, sometimes continue after some time (minutes).
When I click pauze and next dowmload again, download(s) resume and will complete.
I had this problem(?) also with previous versions.
Can someone advise?

This is still happening, video stops downloading at 75%, pausing and restarting will finish the download.

VSO Downloader 2.9.6.6 - Windows 7 64bit Professional, 12 gig of ram, terabytes of hard drive space. Realtek Gigabit Network Card.
Changing settings in Download Settings does nothing. Monitoring the down load just shows the speed drop to zero, VSO Downloader does not time out,
it just waits.
Interesting enough, some sites will download files with out stopping, other sites fail at 75%.

Youtube, problem appears to be getting worse, log reports multipart not supported.
I have 2 files now, 0ne stopped at 75%, another at 33%.
