Is there anyway to detect and download the full video for an embedded Adobe Flashplayer video?
Currently I am only able to detect and download the advert, which is screened prior to the actual video.
An example is from: http://ten.com.au/video-player.htm?movi ... o_m=124666
Thanks,
Adobe Flashplayer

Re: Adobe Flashplayer
Hello,
This is an RTMPE video. Basically, it means the video is encrypted (contrary to HTTP videos). Currently VSO Downloader can't retrieve any RTMP media but we plan to support it in the future.
And to my knowledge, all ads are HTTP videos, that's why you detect them.

Any question about VSO Downloader? See the FAQ.

Thanks for the prompt reply to my question. I will look out for the updated version of the program, some time in the future.LouisM wrote:Hello,

To follow up, this is now available in the in Ultimate paid-for version? To quote: "Ultimate version Features: - No limitation for advanced protocols, inlcuding [sic] RTMP"
Re: Adobe Flashplayer
RTMP is supported. You'll have to wait a while for RTMPE support, though.
Re: Adobe Flashplayer
Thanks, Zero3K. How can I know if the stream that I'm watching and want to record is RTMP? Nothing shows up in the VSO log when I start the stream. (I haven't purchased Ultimate yet and am trying to decide.) This stream brings up Adobe Flash Player.
Re: Adobe Flashplayer
Are you using the latest version? If so, its probably a bug you're experiencing.
Re: Adobe Flashplayer
Yes, the latest version of Adobe Flash Player & VSO Downloader -- a bug in which one? The player seems to be working fine in my case. If you're suggesting a bug in the latest version of VSO Downloader, where are previous versions of VSO available? In any event I'd really like to learn how to identify what kind of stream I'm looking at independently of VSO, if needed.
