Manual link pasting

I see the smart thing in auto-detection - but how do I do a manual link insertion instead - I can't seem to find the spot in the program where I can do that :-(
Hope someof u clever guys can help me out :)

You cannot copy and paste a url. If you play the video on that link the media will be downloaded.
