Re: ConvertXtoBluray
Sothink Media has a Blu Ray creator type program. It has some basic functionality and will make a Blu Ray 25/50 gig or burn your HD media onto a DVD5/9 but it does not
do subtitles unless they are hardcoded into the video (and you cannot turn them off) which a lot of us don't want
have a decent menu creation system
the codecs that are included with the program are the ones that work. you update any of your codecs and the program is liable to blow up (then you get to reinstall and start all over again)
no customization options at all.....what you see is what you get
convert time is loooooooong
did I mention convert time is loooooooong?
quite effective at creating coasters (lots of burn errors)
if you want a bare bones program, it will work but comparing it to the ConvertX family of software is like comparing a AMC Pacer to a Porche. Do yourself a favor and wait for the (hopefully soon) ConvertxtoHD
