BBC iPlayer LIVE streaming and ITV Player

I bought the VSO today because it can download prerecorded BBC iPlayer streams, something I haven't been able to do with any other downloader. So I am very satisfied. But there are two things I wish it could do as well, which it can't.
1. When I try to download a LIVE BBC iPlayer video stream, the VSO Downloader doesn't detect it. Live audio streams are detected and seem to be downloading, but fail.
2. When I try to download a programme from the ITV Player (UK), it's detected, but I get the message 'Protocol not yet supported'.
Is there any chance of these features being added in the foreseeable future?

Can you provide the urls of what you would like supported?

The URL for the ITV Player is http://www.itv.com/itvplayer/. When I stream shows from this site, the VSO Downloader detects them, but under 'Name' indicates 'Unknown', and under 'Progress' indicates 'Protocol not yet supported'. So nothing is downloaded.

As for live BBC streams, an example is http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/tv/bbc_one ... /watchlive. Here the VSO Downloader doesn't even detect a stream. I'm guessing this is a problem because a live stream probably behaves differently from a pre-recorded stream. (NB I have no problems with recorded BBC streams.)
