Transferring DVD movies to iPad mini

I love travel very much. It is very interesting to know different people and customs. But long flight or long time on the train is boring, so I want to rip some of my dvd movies (including Ice Age: Continental Drift) to my new ipad on my mac computer so as to enjoy them on the way. I hope the app can works stably and reliably. Could u give me some suggestion? ((I used Handbrake before, it cracks sometimes, so please do not recommend this one to me again, thanks).

If you want to find some other app, maybe the macx dvd ripper pro is a good choice. It has been updated to support the iPad mini more stably. It is also free now.
