Custom Profile Won't Save

I am trying to create a custom profile that uses:
an AVI container,
Xvid video,
and stereo mp3 audio.

When I hit OK, and then try and convert a file using that preset, the video codec is Mpeg-4, not Xvid. When I go back into that custom profile to edit it again, under the video codec it says "no reencoding, only remux"
