AVG and VSO Downloader no detection

I use Chrome as my Browser, and AVG anti-virus, I have just installed VSO Downloader it appears to have installed correctly and is shown as 'allowed' in my AVG, however when streaming nothing is detected, I have tried changing the Network Adapter to EVE but nothing happens. The problem is definitely connected with my AVG because when I stop it, the Downloader functions.

AVG is showing that VSO Downloader is 'allowed' so does anybody know what else I can do to bypass this problem, as I have no intention of turning off my anti-virus every time.

We tried with the latest AVG version: it is fully compatible with the beta version of VSO Downloader available here:
